The problem.

For industries that work with or looking to work with hydrogen, reliable and cost-effective hydrogen detection & monitoring are a necessary safety requirement when handling and storing this odourless, colourless, and highly flammable molecule.

Currently, many hydrogen sensing devices are made from expensive platinum group metals that degrade over time through their direct interaction with hydrogen, requiring costly preventative maintenance schedules, disruptive production downtime and reduction in your detection system lifetime.

Many of the sensing technologies cannot operate at low temperatures limiting their applicability for use with Liquid Hydrogen storage and use. Furthermore, many of the hydrogen detection technologies on the market also pose a possible spark and ignition risk.

Our Solution.

HyTrace boasts a new sensing technology that challenges the detection and monitoring status quo. HyTrace's innovative sensing technology avoids the reliance on platinum group metals for hydrogen detection, preventing traditional degradation & failure mechanisms and increasing the reliability and lifetime of your detection and monitoring systems.

Its innovative contactless sensing mechanism reduces inherent ignition risks associated with sensors in ATEX environments and allows the monitoring of hydrogen at cryogenic temperatures.
